National Planning Conference

The mission of the American Planning Association (APA) is “to elevate and unite a diverse planning profession as it helps communities, their leaders and residents anticipate and meet the needs of a changing world.”

Each year, the APA brings the industry together at the National Planning Conference to help planners analyze, imagine, and prepare for the future.

The conference program is developed through peer discussion and research into areas most likely to be agents of change in the profession.

The next National Planning Conference will be held Apr. 13–16, 2024, in Minneapolis, MN.
