Dallas: Copper Star Celebration

Inspired by the Best Bar None and Purple Flag schemes in Canada and the UK, this year the non-profit 24HourDallas launched a voluntary accreditation program for nighttime businesses.

On Monday, Aug. 22, 2022, the first class of Copper Star recipients will be presented and recognized by Dallas City Manager T.C. Broadnax and the 24HourDallas board of directors.

24HourDallas’ Copper Star Certification program was designed to recognize businesses, organizations or venues that excel at being safe, comfortable, appealing, well-managed and community friendly at night.

Although more than 125 business locations signed up to participate in the five-month program, we suspect that the criteria winnowed the list down a bit.

We look forward to learning which entities made it to the summit.
