Gibney Company

Gibney dance company members contribute to the group not only as performing artists but also as activists and cultural entrepreneurs.

Calling themselves a “creation-based” repertory company, the Gibney Company commissions work from internationally renowned and emerging choreographers. The troupe explores the connections between rigorous contemporary dance and responsive, humanistic storytelling.

In its Texas debut, the dance company’s program will reflect a range of contemporary choreographic styles and explore present-day concerns around reconfiguring and maintaining identity, while navigating personal and shared spaces.

TITAS/DANCE UNBOUND presents the Gibney Company, Sep. 30 – Oct. 1, 2022, at the AT&T Performing Arts Center.
