More Room to Play
[Cincinnati, OH] Cincinnati Ballet opens its 2023-2024 season with new works created by up-and-coming choreographers.
This ambitious program will feature “More Room to Play” by choreographer, musician, and educator David Morse plus “Quem Viver, Verá,” a dance for five men by Cincinnati Ballet artistic collaborator Jennifer Archibald.
The season opener will also include two as-yet-titled world premieres by Tiler Peck and Houston Thomas.
Peck is a principal dancer with the New York City Ballet.
Thomas is a freelance choreographer and a second soloist with the Dresden Semperoper Ballet. His work is set to the music of Bohren & der Club of Gore, a German ambient/jazz band, and British musician cktrl.
“More Room to Play” is also the name for the performance when Cincinnati Ballet opens its new season, at the Aronoff Center for the Arts, Sep. 15 – 24, 2023.
