Vail Dance Festival
[Vail, CO] The Vail Dance Festival will bring together world-renowned dancers, musicians, composers, and choreographers for 12 performances and multiple events throughout the Vail Valley.
Each summer, the Festival fosters collaborations between artists of various dance genres to push the boundaries of the artform.
Having commissioned more than one-hundred new works since 2007, the festival will continue to grow its expansive world premieres catalog ten cutting-edge dancemakers creating new works. In addition, four new music compositions will be unveiled during the season.
This year’s performers include the Martha Graham Dance Company, L.A. Dance Project, Music From the Sole, BalletX, DanceAspen, and an all-star cast of Festival artists from New York City Ballet, American Ballet Theatre, the Royal Danish Ballet, Boston Ballet, and many more.
Celebrating 35 years of creativity and collaboration, the Vail Dance Festival returns Jul. 28-Aug. 7, 2023, to Vail, Colorado, and the surrounding communities.
