Bob Dylan Center
TULSA, OKLAHOMA: Andy Greene of “Rolling Stone” wrote, “Tulsa, Oklahoma is about to become the center of the Bob Dylan universe.”
What?
Bob Dylan chose Tulsa, Oklahoma for his archive and cultural center.
Why?
“I like the casual hum of the heartland,” Dylan told Vanity Fair.
The $10 million Bob Dylan Center opened May 10, 2022, with over 100,000 pieces collected over several decades by the musician and his team. These items including essays, poems, liner notes, correspondence, philosophical musings, never-before-seen photos and more, spanning nearly the entire length of Bob Dylan’s career.
The 29,000-square-foot, state-of-the art center features sixteen rotating exhibits, 5,000-square-foot archive, a 55-seat screening room and more.
