Art/Rock/Revelry at the Neon Museum of Philadelphia showcases artifacts and oral history from Philadelphia’s alternative music and club scene of the mid-seventies to the mid-eighties.

“Explore Philly’s vibrant era of do-it-yourself spirit and dance-’til-you-drop passion through show flyers, posters, zines, photos, recordings and oral history,” the museum invites.

We’re down with alternative artifacts. We only wish the museum … and, of all places, THIS museum with THIS exhibit … was open after 6 p.m.

Art/Rock/Revelry opened Jul. 29, 2022 and remains on view through Sep. 18, 2022. You’ll have plenty of time to go home and get to bed early.
