The Space Between
“The Space Between: The Modern in Korean Art” is now open through Feb. 19, 2023, at the Los Angeles County Museum of Art. It is the first major exhibition of modern Korean art ever held in the West.
Featuring over 130 artworks by eighty-eight artists, the exhibition illustrates transformative shifts in scale, technique and medium that came to define the art of the modern era in Korea.
Artworks include oils, photography and sculpture rarely exhibited in the US.
This show will also offer an opportunity for audiences to learn about the link that connects the traditional to the contemporary.
“The Space Between: The Modern in Korean Art” is on view daily except on Wednesdays and the museum stays open until 8 p.m. on Friday nights.
