Asian Lantern Festival

The Asian Lantern Festival at Cleveland Metroparks Zoo was supposed to close Aug. 20, 2022. More than 100,000 guests have persuaded organizers to rethink plans.

Now the event has been extended through Sep. 17, 2022. This allows even more guests to experience seventy large-scale lantern displays, live acrobatic performances, culturally inspired cuisine and more.

Additionally, Zoo officials announced the return of Wild Ride, a one-night-only event on Sunday, Sep. 18, 2022, when guests can ride their bikes through the Zoo after-hours, from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m., and experience the illuminated lanterns one last time.
