Chicago International Latino Theater Festival
Latino-centric shows, panels and other special performances are on full display during Destinos, the Chicago International Latino Theater Festival.
One play (pictured here) making its U.S. premiere during the festival is “Tebas Land,” written by Uruguayan playwright Sergio Blanco.
Inspired by the myth of Oedipus and the life of the fourth-century European Saint Martín, the playwright explores the story of a prisoner who has committed parricide.
Presented by the Chicago Latino Theater Alliance, Destinos 2022 runs through Oct. 17, 2022.
