Festival of New American Music
Each year, the Festival of New American Music presents some of America’s most exciting musicians and recently composed or improvised music.
This year marks the 45th annual Festival – and a return to live, in-person events.
Presented by Sacramento State at the school’s Capistrano Hall, the concert line-up includes:
- DuoXylo, a new bassoon and percussion ensemble making its debut with two world premiere commissions.
- Earplay, a chamber music ensemble based in the San Francisco Bay Area.
- Tenor (and actor) Curtis Bannister performing along with pianist John Cozza.
The Festival of New American Music takes place Nov. 6–10, 2022.
