Five-time All-Star and basketball Hall of Famer Shaquille O’Neal is the namesake for the first Shaqtoberfest.

This Halloween event takes place at the historic Queen Mary in Long Beach, CA.

With fun and trick-or-treating by day, Shaqtoberfest transforms into a Halloween festival at night.

Officially open to the public on “select nights” between Sep. 29, 2022, through Halloween, Oct. 31, 2022, planners hope the experience will become the ultimate family-friendly Halloween destination. Games, treats, specialty libations, nighttime haunted trails and live entertainment are all in store.

It certainly helps that Shaqtoberfest will be presented alongside the Queen Mary, one of Los Angeles’ most haunted landmarks.

Sounds like a slam dunk.
