Beyond King Tut
In its first stop in Boston before embarking on a full North American tour, Beyond King Tut: The Immersive Experience explores the boy king’s life and entombment in Ancient Egypt.
The exhibit transforms the SoWa Power Station in Boston’s South End into a 360-degree view of Ancient Egypt. Plunging visitors into Tutankhamun’s life in 14th century BC, the exhibition covers his rule, death and mummification at a young age, and the discovery of his tomb in 1922.
We’re a bit immersive experienced out but this “experience” carries the indicia of National Geographic. And timed admission tickets go as late as 8 p.m. weekdays and 9 p.m. on Friday and Saturday. So, there’s that.
Beyond King Tut closes Oct. 2, 2022.
