Helpline for Service Industry

We have to tip our hat to UK’s Night Time Industries Association (NTIA) and The Drinks Trust for establishing a 24-hour-a-day helpline to provide mental health support services to workers in the nighttime sector. Workers need only call 0800 915 4610.

Founded in 1886 as The Benevolent, The Drinks Trust supports alcohol and beverage service industry professionals to help them develop their careers.

The NTIA advocates for nighttime industries in the UK and beyond.

The nighttime economy has been at the sharpest end of the pandemic. With many businesses closed permanently or overburdened with debt, and the workforce losing primary sources of income, there has been a direct impact on families and communities. Kudos to these two organizations for addressing the human element of this crisis.
