Ambar

Ambar

[Washington, DC] All you can eat? All you can drink??

That’s the word about Ambar.

“Discover the whole world of Balkan cuisine on your table by trying a little bit of everything – all for one flat price.”

$49.99 per person for unlimited food plus $27.99 for unlimited (selected) drinks plus $7.99 to dive into an Ambar dessert platter.

Beef sausage kebabs, chicken skewers, ground lamb medallions, goulash, flatbreads, baked cheese pie … stop already, we are there! And our eyes haven’t yet floated down to the menu’s drinks or desserts.

“Our unique approach to food, unparalleled service and world-famous Balkan Hospitality are the key to make your every visit a special occasion.”

The “unlimited” feature is special enough. Even with the requirements that:

  • each table guest must select the all-you-can-eat option to get the price,
  • the restaurant places a two-hour dining time limit on table, and
  • an automatic 20% service charge will be added for parties of six or more.

Similar to its siblings in Capitol Hill and Clarendon, the two-story, 161-seat Ambar restaurant and bar opened Mar. 6, 2023, in DC’s Shaw neighborhood.
