Bayshore Club
Originally an island, and later connected to the mainland in 1914, Dinner Key received its name for being a beautiful picnic stop while traveling by boat along the coastal waters of the city.
In 1918, Dinner Key became the site of the first continental naval air station in the United States. Through the 1930s and ’40s, Dinner Key served as a base for Pan American World Airway’s flying boats (affectionately known as Clippers).
The original Art Deco airport terminal now houses Miami City Hall and is located to the southeast side of Bayshore Club.
Paying tribute to Coconut Grove’s aviation and nautical past, Bayshore Club combines an open-air restaurant, bar and entertainment garden.
With an all-day menu featuring, of course, seafood, Bayshore Club also offers bunch on weekends and live music Wednesday through Sunday. Just opened Jul. 25, 2022.
