Blue Sky Kitchen & Bar

After nearly two years of development, Blue Sky Kitchen & Bar is now open in East Liberty.

The new restaurant, which features a large patio space and offers a menu described on its website as a “twist on American classics,” is located on the first floor of 211 Tower.

Menu items are comforting and reliant on sandwiches with a few entrees available after 4 p.m.

The restaurant has a nice selection of beer, ales and IPAs, in cans and on tap, along with wine and cocktails. (The Gin Basil Smash and a Cold Brew Martini look pretty tasty.)

Owner Matt Turbiner says, “Blue Sky can offer opportunities, food and drinks, friendships, a place to feel welcome, and hopefully, a place where you can get a break from whatever you need to get a break from.

“A Blue Sky has always seemed to do that for me.”
