Chacra

Chacra

Pisco is a brandy produced in wine-producing regions of Peru and Chile. The most popular spirit in Argentina, Bolivia, Chile and Peru, we will now get to see how popular it becomes in *checks notes* Connecticut

Chacra opened Sep. 30, 2022. The upscale restaurant and pisco bar is located on Temple Street in the heart of downtown New Haven.

Chacra’s menu includes nine types of ceviche as well as classic Peruvian dishes like lomo saltado (stir-fried beef with onion), pollo a la brasa (rotisserie chicken) and yuca fries.

Its name a tribute to Peru’s farming fields, Chacra also offers sixteen varieties of pisco.

That ought to hold those Yalies for a few Boola Boolas.
