The House

Formerly known as the River House Restaurant, Society 8 hospitality group is about to breathe life into a structure built in downtown Fort Lauderdale in 1903.

Listed on the National Register of Historic Places, the property will be rebranded as The House on the River.

Expect a Southern-influenced menu offering an eclectic mix of fresh farm-to-table options. The restaurant and its garden patio are located on the river (that’s the New River for non-locals). Water Taxi will offer a pick-up and drop-off dock just steps from the front door.

THE HOUSE will open in early fall, 2022.
