Kaya

Kaya

Kaya is a Filipino casual fine dining restaurant coming to Orlando’s Mills 50 district.

“After six years of running pop-ups, backyard parties + feasts at Kadence,” its website states. “The time has come to bring our full-service Filipino concept to life. Kaya showcases a lively and flavorful taste of Filipino techniques, ingredients and stories alongside the freshest Florida ingredients and a thoughtful beverage program.”

Expect deliciousness like ampalaya melon panna cotta with basil custard, squid ink tagliolini and oxtail-filled caramelle.

Kaya is owned and operated by Chef Lordfer Lalicon and General Manager Jamilyn Salonga Bailey, alongside Lo’s wife Julie Anne and investor partners Johnny Tung and John Rife III, longtime friends and game changers in the Central Florida food community.

They practice “radical hospitality.”

We like the sound of that.
