Lexy’s
When it first appeared on the scene, Trinity Groves was a restaurant incubator in an overlooked industrial area of Dallas.
The Margaret Hunt Hill Bridge changed all that and, today, co-founder and investor Phil Romano has handed over operations of the buzzing restaurant complex to a 29-year-old chef, Julian Rodarte.
The first new Trinity Groves restaurant under Rodarte’s watch is Lexy’s.
Lexy’s opened Aug. 15, 2022 and offers lunch and dinner service with selections like avocado toast with tuna, crab and lobster cakes, and brisket stuffed avocado croquettes. Wagyu beef dishes also shine through the menu.
On the cocktail side, note the CBD-infused hot tea. The tea is made with a blend of chai, coffee and cocoa nib-infused tequila. The beverage is then served in a vintage porcelain teapot with dry ice smoke.
Yes, please.
We cannot, however, overlook exactly how, um … pink Lexy’s is. We’re always taken by the design work of Coevál Studio, which has an exquisite record of architectural and interior design.
But Lexy’s is pink pink pink.
We sure hope boys are welcomed.
