Mes Amis
Oh, my…
Mes Amis is a new generation French-inspired Brasserie by Chef Lincoln Carson. The restaurant opened May 27, 2022.
“Eater Los Angeles” wrote, “Bask in French decadence at Lincoln Carson’s new Hollywood restaurant.”
“Wine Spectator” nicely captures the restaurant’s ambiance. “The contemporary space melds Parisian touches—like café-style chairs, antiqued brass cornicing, globe pendant lighting and marble tables—with modern California twists, including an industrial ceiling and faded-green plaster walls adorned with black-and-white photography. Glass doors connect a private dining room to an open-air patio for outdoor events and gatherings.”
And then, of course, there is the menu.
Try the large serving of shellfish with nine East and West Coast oysters, six Little Neck clams, six New Caledonian prawns and a couple of raw Maine scallops. However, images of the savory vegetable galette grabbed our attention.
We are intrigued by Le Poodle on cocktail menu. This concoction includes Grey Goose vodka, grapefruit and lime juices, champagne, sea salt and fennel pollen … and comes at a price that’s nothing to sneeze at.
Bon appétit!
