Noche
[Tulsa, OK] Noche is a new restaurant concept opening in downtown Tulsa, Oklahoma.
Created by the Food Is Family hospitality group and Chef Sheamus Feeley, Noche will contribute to the already vibrant collection of eateries near the Greenwood area. The wood-fired Mexican grill and agave bar is inspired by Mexico City’s lively culinary and beverage scene.
Tulsa World reports that Feeley’s culinary career “has taken him around the world, from working in Michelin-starred restaurants in France to creating such acclaimed restaurants as Mateo in Boulder, Colorado, and Farmstead Restaurant in California’s Napa Valley.
“But it’s been his life-long dream to open a restaurant in Tulsa.”
Having grown up in Fayetteville, Arkansas, “Tulsa was always the big city for us,” Feeley tells the newspaper. Now, he will contribute to the same atmosphere he enjoyed as a boy.
Expect appetizers like crushed-tamale queso served with tostadas and totopos and what he calls “loaded” elotes: grilled sweet corn with mayonnaise, parmesan, smoked paprika, lime, and hot chili pepper corn chips.
Main dishes include pork, fish, beef and chicken dishes prepared, respectively, as cochinita pibil, pescado a la talla, carne a la tampiqueña, and pollo a la brasa.
Noche opens June 19, 2023, in the Vast Bank Building at 110 N. Elgin Ave. We imagine it will be extremely popular given the restaurant’s proximity to ONEOK Field, home of the Tulsa Drillers Double-A Minor League Baseball club.
