Queen Miami Beach
The Miami Herald writes that “The Paris Theater, built in 1945 by Art Deco architect Henry Hohauser, once was home to hedonistic pleasures, a backdrop for album covers and videos by stars like Madonna, U2, Christina Aguilera and Ricky Martin.
“Now, the gem from Hohauser, who also designed the Essex House Hotel in Miami Beach, is home to one of the most luxurious restaurants in Miami.”
And she is royalty.
Following a $40 million redevelopment, the space is stunning.
Miami New Times adds, “The focal point of the dining room is its kitchen with looking glass windows, where morsels from chief culinary officer Julien Jouhannaud and executive chef Mitchell Hesse are concocted. Jouhannaud has overseen a number of Michelin-starred operations, notably Le Louis XV – Alain Ducasse à l’Hôtel de Paris in Monaco, and Hesse had held top-chef roles at Cote, Novikov, and Zuma.”
In addition to small plates, Queen Miami Beach offers a raw bar, an extensive menu of sushi and sashimi, and reserved cuts of Black Angus beef from small family-owned ranches and farms in America.
Eater Miami settles on the word “opulent,” and we are here for it.
Queen Miami Beach opened Feb. 2, 2023. Yas Queen!
