Mountain Octopus
[Creede, CO] Creede Repertory Theatre is a professional theatre company located in Creede, Colorado. The troupe produces a wide range of plays, from classics to new works. It is also known for its commitment to emerging playwrights, actors, and directors.
CRT also operates as a repertory theater, meaning that it produces multiple plays simultaneously, with the same group of actors performing in multiple productions throughout the season.
The theater’s 2023 season includes one production that has caught our attention.
“Mountain Octopus” by Beth Kander tells of a small town full of quirky characters who gather together to patch up what’s broken after a tragic loss. However, with both humor and drama, nothing quite goes as planned.
Written exclusively for Creede Repertory Theatre, the world premiere of “Mountain Octopus” is in the company’s rotation of six plays, May 26 – Aug 26, 2023.
