ASOBARES Colombia is an acronym for “Asociación Colombiana de Bares,” which translates to “Colombian Association of Bars and Nightclubs” in English.
The trade association represents the interests of the bar and nightclub industry in Colombia. Founded in 1998, ASOBARES has since become a leading voice for the sector, advocating for policies that promote the growth and development of the industry.
SERVICES PROVIDED
The organization provides training, resources, and support to its members, with the goal of promoting best practices and standards of excellence in the industry. It also works to promote responsible alcohol consumption and to combat underage drinking and drunk driving.
In addition to its advocacy and networking functions, ASOBARES Colombia also organizes events and initiatives to promote the bar and nightclub industry in Colombia. These include the annual National Bar and Nightclub Congress, which brings together industry leaders, experts, and stakeholders to discuss key issues and trends in the sector.
As the nightlife association in Colombia, ASOBARES has 2,500 affiliates in thirteen states of the country. ASOBARES is also an affiliate of the International Nightlife Association, based in Barcelona, Spain. INA offers additional services for restaurants, bars, clubs, discos, lounges, hotels and their suppliers
