Gambling on new retail in Las Vegas

Strong nighttime economies need diverse options for nighttime customers.

According to “Las Vegas Review-Journal,” one developer is going all in with a four-story, 2-acre site retail complex on The Strip.

“In the era of Amazon, what retail stores would want to open on famed casino corridor?” you might ask.

Developer Brett Torino answers, “At least five of our tenants are what they refer to as a flagship opportunity. They want to make their own announcements. We don’t want to get in their way.”

By October 2022 we should learn if that is a bluff or a value bet.
