Women’s Night Safety Charter Champion and Bystander Training

There is an international conversation around what the public can do to increase women’s safety. People and organizations want to take steps to be able to address the prevalence of unwanted and aggressive behaviors that underly the broader cycle of violence against women and girls.

To accommodate public demand, the Suzy Lamplugh Trust and L’Oréal Paris have formed a partnership to bring the expert-approved, international “Stand Up Against Street Harassment” training program to UK audiences.

On Thursday, Mar. 16, 2023, at 8:30 a.m. CDT, London’s Safer Business Network presents a free webinar titled “Women’s Night Safety Charter Champion and Bystander Training.” Anyone from around the world could benefit from attending this free, hour-long online presentation.

Sponsored by L’Oréal Paris, this training session will increase awareness of sexual harassment and empower bystanders in settings as diverse as public transport, educational institutions, festivals, public spaces, and workplaces. Learn how to help defuse situations, discourage harassers, and support victims.

This global initiative has trained more than 1.3M people to date.
