Dahua Night Alley opens to boost nighttime consumption

[China] It’s hard to determine the veracity of any news coming out of China. However, it is fair to say that country does consistently push messages out about its nighttime economy.

This story focuses on what it calls a new “night walking street” in Shanghai’s north Baoshan District.

“Baoshan aims to enrich nighttime consumption options and enhance the nighttime economy by exploring vibrant and fashionable nighttime scenes, especially along the Huangpu and Yangtze rivers, according to the district government,” Shine reports.
