Green Room
Mpls.St.Paul Magazine writes, “Green Room, a new fully independent music venue in the Uptown neighborhood of Minneapolis, is bringing more than just plants and a disco ball to Lake Street and Hennepin Avenue’s party hub intersection.
“Since Uptown Bar’s closure in 2009, one of the city’s most popular neighborhoods has lacked a proper venue dedicated to live music for the past 14 years—aside from the casual dive bar rock band or speakeasy jazz performance.”
Now it has one again.
In addition to a full slate of upcoming concerts, Green Room also offers food, cocktails and beer on tap, plus non-alcoholic and THC-infused beverages.
A noteworthy occasion for Minneapolis, Green Room opened Jan. 28, 2023.
